Carl August Gustav Ramm
Carl August Gustav Ramm, the son of Gotthard Paul Ramm and Anna Doreatha Emma (Schubert) Ramm, was born on 1 August 1883, at Lobethal, South Australia, and died in Nyabing, Western Australia, on 30 March 1942 (aged 58).
He is buried in the Katanning Cemetery, Katanning, Western Australia

In 1907, Carl married Amanda Francesca (Winton) Ramm, the daughter of Johann Friedrich Wilhelm Schubert and Johanne Juliane (Schmidt) Ramm. Amanda was born on 20 September 1886, in Lyndoch, South Australia and died in Katanning on 9 November 1970 (aged 57). She is also buried in the Katanning Cemetery alongside her husband.
Carl had one sister, Pauline Anna Sophie (1881-1900) and one brother, Carl Johannes Paul (1885-1949).

Following a period of ill-health, the death occurred suddenly on April 30 of Mr. Carl August Gustav Ramm, at his home, “Quarlimin,” Nyabing. Mr. Ramm, who was 58 years of age, owned a well-improved farming property near Boongadoo, and during his years of residence had always taken an active interest in the affairs of the district. He is survived by his widow, two daughters, and five sons.
The funeral took place at the Katanning Cemetery on Saturday afternoon, May 2, a very large concourse of friends and sympathisers following the remains to their last resting place in the Lutheran portion of the cemetery. The service at the graveside was conducted by Rev. A. C. Lienert, the Lutheran Minister. Funeral arrangements were attended to by Messrs. E. Courtis and Co., Katanning.
Chief mourners present were Mrs. Ramm (widow), Messrs. Frank and Wally Ramm (sons), Mesdames K. Robertson and Les Kiddie (daughters), Messrs. Paul and Otto Ramm (brothers), Mrs. Frank Ramm and Mrs. Wally Ramm (daughters-in-law), Messrs. Les Kiddie and Keith Robertson (sons-in-law), Mesdames R. and O. Ramm (sisters-in-law), Misses Mavis and Evelyn Ramm (nieces). The duties of pallbearers were carried out by Messrs. J. Haydock, A. Tuffley, E. Slee, A. McDougal Sargent, P. Gerhardy, and W. Hobley.
